By using the TrueLow app or website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use TrueLow.
What TrueLow does
TrueLow shows prices from online stores and our assessment of whether those stores look trustworthy. We don’t sell anything ourselves. When you buy, you buy from the store, under the store’s own terms, prices, shipping and return policies.
Prices can change
Prices, shipping costs and availability come from store listings and can change at any time. We try to keep them accurate, but we can’t guarantee it. Always check the final price at the store’s checkout before you buy.
Trust ratings are guidance, not a guarantee
Labels like “Verified store”, “Use caution” and “Likely scam” are based on automated checks, such as whether a store is an established retailer, how long its website has existed, and how its price compares with major retailers. They are a helpful signal, not a promise that any store is safe or unsafe. Use your own judgment, and pay with a credit card where you can for the best protection.
Affiliate links
Some links to stores are affiliate links. If you buy after tapping one, the store may pay TrueLow a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects how stores are ranked: they are always ordered by total price.
Price alerts
We check prices regularly and try to notify you when a price drops to your target, but alerts can be delayed or missed. Don’t rely on TrueLow alone for time-sensitive purchases.
Using TrueLow fairly
Please don’t misuse TrueLow, for example by trying to disrupt it, scraping it automatically, or using it to break the law.
No warranty and limits on liability
TrueLow is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, TrueLow isn’t responsible for losses from purchases you make at stores, from price or availability errors, or from relying on trust ratings. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll update the date at the top. Continuing to use TrueLow after a change means you accept the updated terms.
